Good morning! It’s time to head to Ibiza’s port and catch the ferry to Formentera. Pack your bag, grab your Ca na Cata towel, bring your best mood, and… let’s go!
10:00 - Ferry to Formentera
From Ibiza’s port, you’ll hop on a ferry that will take you to paradise in just about 30 minutes. Once you arrive, it’s time to decide how to get around: a scooter or a car are the best options if you want to make the most of your day. A bike is a great alternative for a leisurely ride, but not the best choice if you’re planning to explore the whole island in one day.

10:30 - Breakfast with a view in Es Caló de Sant Agustí
Our first stop is Es Caló de Sant Agustí, a charming little fishing village with a special kind of magic. The best place for breakfast? Cafetería Can Rafalet, where you can enjoy a coffee and some toast while taking in stunning sea views. It’s the perfect moment to recharge before the adventure continues!

11:00 - Swim at Es Caló
After breakfast, it’s time for a refreshing dip, either by the old boat docks or at Es Caló beach. Expect crystal-clear waters, total tranquility, and a postcard-perfect setting.
12:30 - Heading to La Mola and its lighthouse
Next, we’re heading up to Formentera’s highest point: La Mola Lighthouse. Along the way, we’ll make a few stops at scenic viewpoints where you can take in breathtaking views of the island, with the sea on both sides and Ibiza in the distance. Trust me, it’s a sight that will leave you speechless.

13:30 - Vermouth or a refreshing swim
If you’re in the mood for a little aperitif, find a cozy bar and enjoy a good vermouth like the locals do. But if the heat is kicking in, the best plan is to head down to Migjorn Beach for another swim before lunch. Your call!

14:30 - Lunch at a beachside chiringuito
Time to enjoy Formentera’s delicious cuisine with your feet in the sand. Here are my top picks for a great lunch (make sure to book in advance!):

17:00 - Heading to Cala Saona
After a great meal and a relaxed sobremesa, it’s time to keep exploring. Next stop: Cala Saona, one of Formentera’s most stunning beaches, with turquoise waters and soft white sand.
18:00 - Afternoon at Ses Illetes
From here, we make our way to the famous Ses Illetes Beach. By this time of day, it’s much quieter, making it the perfect moment to enjoy its breathtaking beauty without the crowds.

19:00 - Sunset at the beach or Cala DUO Beach Club
A couple of great options to wrap up the day:

21:30 - Quick dinner before heading back: DUO es VICIO
Before returning to Ibiza, there’s one last must-try stop—and you don’t even have to move. Time to grab a VICIO. If you don’t know what that is yet, you’re about to find out!
At the same beach club, as night falls, you can try their insanely good burgers. The perfect way to end the day on a high note and make sure the journey back home doesn’t feel too long! 🍔🔥

22:00 - Ferry back to Ibiza
We hop on the ferry with the best feeling ever—12 perfect hours in Formentera.
⚡ Bonus tip: If you’re not ready to leave just yet, you can always catch the last ferry of the night and enjoy a bit more of the DJ set at Cala DUO.
For me, this is the ultimate day trip... Until next time! 🚤✨
